Mednarodna dejavnost Univerze za
tretje življenjsko obdobje
Univerza za tretje
življenjsko obdobje že od leta 1984 deluje tudi mednarodno.
Prve stike je vzpostavila s prvo Univerzo za tretje življenjsko
obdobje v Toulousu v Franciji, ki jo je tam na Pravni fakulteti leta 1973
ustanovil profesor mednarodnega prava Pierre Vellas.
Univerza je ustanovna članica mreže evropskih univerz LILL, Learning In Later
Life, pri Centru Zawiw redne Univerze v Ulmu (www.uni-ulm.de/LiLL).
Navezala je stike s Senior Web, nizozemsko organizacijo za spodbujanje učenja
interneta in novih tehnologij za starejše (www.senior.co.uk/).
Organizacija je doslej vzgojila več kot 1000 ambasadorjev interneta, starejših
oseb,ki svoje znanje širijo med mlade v majhnih krajih in z njim dosežejo tudi
tiste invalidne osebe, ki so priklenjene na dom.
Univerza skupaj z Gerontološkim društvom Slovenije sodeluje z Nizozemskim
nacionalnim centrom za socialno varstvo v Utrechtu. Z njim je dogradila svoje
programe predupokojitvenega izobraževanja
S pomočjo sodelovanja s Save the Children Fund (www.savethechildren.org.uk)
in Društva za razvijanje prostovoljnega dela so sodelavci Univerze stopili v
stik z organizacijo Age Concern, eno vidnejših organizacij za vprašanja
starosti in staranja v Veliki Britaniji (www.ace.org.uk).
Občasno se vključuje tudi v AIUTO, mednarodno zvezo univerz za tretje
življenjsko obdobje (www.aiuta.asso.fr).
Vključeni smo v tri večletne
mednarodne projekte v okviru sofinanciranja Socrates - Grundtvig:
PEFETE - Pan-European Forum for Education of The Elderly
(www.pefete.wz.cz) – Vseevropski forum za
izobraževanje starejših. Cilj projekta je povezovanje evropskih organizacij
na področju izobraževanja starejših kot tudi širjenje nasledkov raziskav s
tega področja. V sklopu tega projekta smo v letu 2005 opravili analizo
izobraževanja starejših odraslih v Sloveniji in na to temo pripravili nacionalno poročilo.
Izkušnje in spoznanja naše Univerze pa smo
predstavili v Pragi, Sofiji in Gironi.
LACE (Lifelong
Learning and Civic Engagement of the Elderly, 2005-2007) - evropski projekt za vseživljenjsko
učenje in dejavno državljanstvo starejših. Gre za andragoško izobraževanje starejših
za posredovanje njihovega izkustvenega znanja starejšim in drugim
generacijam v obliki organiziranega prostovoljnega dela.
Univerza je povezana tudi z
nekaterimi italijanskimi univerzami za tretje življenjsko obdobje, ki so v tej državi nastale s pomočjo Lyons kluba, denimo z Univerzo v Trstu in Milanu.
Študijsko in raziskovalno se univerza povezuje tudi z Open University v
Londonu (www.open.ac.uk).
Univerza je
nosilec projekta "Starejši - nosilci in posredniki nesnovne kulturne
dediščine" (junij 2008 - december 2009), ki je podprt s subvencijo Islandije, Lihtenštajna in Norveške preko
Finančnega mehanizma EGP in Norveškega finančnega mehanizma. (www.kulturni-mediator.si)
IANUS
Univerza
sodeluje v evropskem projektu IANUS (European Guidelines for Later Learning
in Intergenerational, Intercultural and ICT-based Settings, 2007-2009), ki
je posvečen zbiranju in popisovanju ključnih dejavnikov in vprašanj v
izobraževanju starejših odraslih. (www.ianusllp.com).
SENIOR (Support
European Neighbours in Open Relations)
Vsebina projekta je
spoznavanje, razumevanje in razvijanje dialoga starejših znotraj Evropske
unije. Projekt omogoča srečevanje skupin starejših iz posameznih partnerskih
organizacij na temo razvijanja meddržavnih sosedskih odnosov. Sosedje smo v
Evropi lahko razpršeni na vse strani celine - povezuje pa nas evropsko
državljanstvo. Projekt izhaja iz starejših, ki so živ vir« kulture, znanja,
osebnega in zgodovinskega spomina (pomembnih zgodovinskih dogodkov pri
posameznih narodih).
Projekt koordinira
Univerza za tretje življenjsko obdobje iz Lodza iz Poljske, partnerske
organizacije pa prihajajo iz Španije, Finske, Nemčije in Slovenije. Več o

AESAEC (Active
Euroean Seniors for Active European Citizenship)
Namen mednarodnega
projekta AESAEC, katerega koordinator je Auxilium (Graz, Avstrija) je
razvijati dejavno državljanstvo starejših. Tema projekta je spodbujanje
dejavnega evropskega državljanstva starejših. V okviru projekta bodo
partnerske organizacije skupaj zasnule priročnik, ki bo govoril o vlogi
evropskih institucij in njihovih politikah, ki vplivajo na vsakdanje
življenje starejših državljanov Evrope, o dejavnem državljanstvu, o
starejših samih, o njihovem položaju v družbi in o sodelovanju generacij.
Vprašanja starejših so vsekakor vprašanja kulturnih vzorcev življenja in
tudi zato so mednarodni pogledi zanimivi. Več o projektu:

Would you like
to exchange information about your region with members of language
groups in the University of the Third Age in the UK? The aim is to
encourage our members to use their languages with a view to making
contact and exchange visits in the future. I have the names and
addresses of contacts in the UK for *ten* French groups, *nine*
German groups and *six* Spanish groups. The messages will be in
these languages and English, so that members in other countries can
practise their English, and they can be sent between October and
December 1999 by post, audio-tape or in a few cases, e-mail. Very
few of our members are connected to the Internet. If you are
